Why, thank you! I got it at Broadway Hotique, next to Dicks on Broadway. I thought the Rhinestone dragonfly applique might have been a little much with the feathers, but then I decided to just, go for it, you know? I am from Long Beach, CA so sometimes you just have to bow down to the roots. I would like to get rhinestone encrusted UGG's for our upcoming shows.
So first of all, I heard that TacocaT broke up, is this not true?
Nope! that was a false media rumor, although we are currently a bi-coastal band.
That's interesting, What makes you say that?
Our drummer is currently living in Brooklyn, but flying back for tours and shows.
I would love to afford to do that from Miami, but I need the financial backing first. I've been trying to get ahold of my biological father, Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, but his bitchy publicist and manager of the Mustaine Estate keeps hanging up on me. I'm going to give her a few weeks to chill out, then if not I'm going to be forced to demand legal actions.
Well, once a bitch always a bitch I guess right? How does Tacocat decide when to tour? Take me through that process.
Well, we usually require getting out of town for spring and/or summer, but one time we did a winter tour and it was magical being in the South for that, but the desert nights got cold in the sw and sleeping on the floor morale got low.
Who is your least favorite person? Don't hold back. They don't have to be in your band, but they don't not have to be either (wink).
Taylor Swift, 100%. She makes me absolutely furious.
What inspires you?
The Cell, starring Jennifer Lopez, the Taco Bell Chihuahua (RIP), other local bass players, 5th wave feminism, "pump up the Jam" by the Belgian based music project Jo Bogaert.
Speaking of Technotronic, you used to DJ quite a bit, any plans to do that again soon?
I never want to DJ again, unless its at a party and am uninvited and cant stand the music that some kid is playing, and rudely jerk the cord out of someone elses ipod to put mine in. That is my passion.
